Recoating wooden stairs

According to the wood type of the stairs you need to recoat them every 5-10 years. The main traffic areas may show some wear surface. Firstly, you need to clean up old varnish and dust by sanding it away.  You can do it by hand or using some equipment. Then you need to recoat these areas with a new finish according to instructions. You may also recoat entire wooden stairs to refresh it and add more protection.
